Friday Fun CRAZY "Tales from Aesop's Stables"

Here's a "Happy Halloween" treat: a never-reprinted example of horror humor...
...from Atlas' Crazy V1N7 (1954)
Despite the title, this piece written and illustrated by Howie Post was not part of a series!
Perhaps it was, but since this was the last issue of one of Atlas' three simultaneous MAD clones, no other installments were ever seen!

Haunted House Reading Room WORLD OF MYSTERY "Secret of the Haunted House"

With Halloween right around the corner, we're doing a series of themed stories until All Hallows Eve...
...based on haunted houses!
This Al Williamson-penciled and Ralph Mayo-inked tale from Atlas' World of Mystery #6 (1957) has only been reprinted once since (in b/w not color), and that was in 2008!

Wednesday Worlds of Wonder WALKING DEAD "Beginning of the End" Part 1

It's a world where a former law enforcement officer leads a ragtag group of survivors against an unending zombie horde...

...no, no, not that Walking Dead!
This Walking Dead...

...featuring dead who not only walk, they talk (incessantly), think, and use automatic weapons!
And in this universe, that might just be enough to destroy the living...
You Can Witness the Fearsome Finale...
Next Wednesday!

Created by writer/artist Jim Somerville and published by Malibu/Aircel in 1989, it was vastly-different from the 2003-present graphic novel series created by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore.
For collectors, there's good news and bad news...
Good news: There's only a four-issue mini series and a one-shot Special to collect!
Bad news: Because it didn't sell well (and has never been reprinted), it's HTF (hard to find) and expensive!

Scary Steve Ditko: Space Adventures #12 Cover

Even though it has nothing to do with any of the stories inside Charlton's Space Adventures #12 (1954), it's one of the most famous and most reprinted covers artist Steve Ditko ever did (excluding Amazing Spider-Man and Amazing Fantasy #15 covers, of course)!
