What's Kooler than Dinosaurs?

Dinosaurs in 3-D!!!

Get Your Red (on the left) Blue (on the right) 3-D Glasses on and dive in...

Appearing in Ray Zone's 3-D Zone #14 (1988), Tyranostar by writer/artists Pete Von Sholly & Michael Van Cleve was an attempt at a juvenile adventure series combining humans and sentient dinosaurs set in "Prehistorica".

As for who Tyranostar is...

Apparently, 3-D book producer Ray Zone thought the tale above would be a good entry in his ongoing anthology book 3-D Zone which adapted 2-D comics into 3-D!

You can see another sample of his conversion work HERE!

Von Sholly tried to market the concept again around 2000, this time with a slightly less-juvenile approach in a motion comics sampler...

Tyranostar Will Return...

Reading Room SPACEHAWK "Pirates of Uranus" in 3-D!

Get those 3-D glasses out kiddies (red lens on the left, blue lens on the right)...

...as we look in on one more version of what many believe to be the prototypical SpaceHawk tale...

Ray Zone did a magnificent job converting Wolverton's art to 3-D in 3-D Zone #18 (1989).

We hope you enjoyed this Halloween treat, and follow us for the rest of the week as we present more goodies during this most sacred of holidays.
