There's no explanation in the story as to what the "Fibonacci Sequence" is.
Named after the Middle Ages mathematician Leonardo of Pisa aka Fibonacci (although it was known in Indian science and arts at least a century earlier), the sequence begins with 1 and 1, or 0 and 1, depending on the starting point, and each
subsequent number is the sum of the previous two.
