Friday Fun / Trump Reading Room UNQUOTABLE TRUMP "Jumbled Action: Black Voter"

From Now Until Election Day, We'll Be Presenting Examples of How Creatives See Don da Con...
...often using his own words, as in this example from Unquotable Trump by cartoonist R. Sikoryak, based on the cover for Marvel's Jungle Action (featuring the Black Panther) #5 (1973) by artist John Romita Sr!
Non-Don da Con Trivia: Though the cover was new, the story inside was a reprint of Marvel's Mighty Avengers V1N62 (1969)...
...which had a different cover by John Buscema and George Klein!

Reading Room WORLD OF MYSTERY "Night I Lost My Body!"

Some people lose their minds!
This guy will tell you about something even worse...
...in a never-reprinted tale from Atlas' World of Mystery #7 (1957)!
Illustrated by longtime Simon & Kirby Studio artist Marvin Stein, the story seems to have a very Jack Kirby "feel" to the panel structures and character poses.
Could Kirby have helped out by doing uncredited layouts?
We'll never know...

Wednesday Worlds of Wonder STARFAWN "To the Nearest Quasar" Part 1.5

We Have Already Seen...

...and, as the crew encounters an artifact floating in space, a team led by scout Shalla (aka "StarFawn") sent to retrieve it runs into a problem...

Things are looking bad, indeed!
But, if you journey on Friday over to our "sister"RetroBlog
you'll see the next chapter of this startling saga!
Note to Gardner Fox/Crom fans:
We apologize for the interruption of the re-presentation of Comics' First Barbarian, but he'll be back in a couple of weeks!

Reading Room WORLD OF FANTASY "Brain Destroyer!"

This title reminded me of Don (da Con) Trump...
...even though the story itself has nothing to connect it to the Republicans' hilarious convicted criminal candidate!
No matter whether you agree for my reason for running the story, it's still a long-lost, never-reprinted tale from Atlas' World of Fantasy #19 (1959) you probably would never have seen otherwise.
Plotted by Stan Lee, written by Larry Lieber, and illustrated by Carl Burgos, it's typical of the sort of stuff Atlas was running as it transitioned into what we would know as Marvel only a couple of years later.
