Make Yuletide 2017 a Kick-Butt Christmas!

In our ongoing quest to suggest cool Christmas gifts for our faithful fans, we of Atomic Kommie Comics™ would like to direct you to, perhaps, the most unlikely of departments--Pop Art Martial Arts™

But, when you think about it, considering how Western-based, cops-and-robbers-oriented, and military-themed toys and gifts have been part of the Yuletide for generations (I'll never forget finding my first 11.5" GI Joe under the tree one Christmas morning back in the 1960s!), it's only natural that martial arts-oriented gifts should also be part of the holiday season!

Beyond the fact that you can't shoot your eye out with a gi, (Note: Do NOT give ninja throwing stars to kids as a present!) all these themes are based on the concept of good triumphing over evil, protecting the helpless, and having fun doing it!
And, martial arts promote physical fitness! ;-)

We offer men's, women's, and kid's garb, as well as stuff to decorate your dojo.

And what a lineup!
Kung Fu Vampires!
The ORIGINAL StreetFighter!
Sister StreetFighter!
Lady Kung Fu!
Deadly China Doll!
Five Fingers of Death!
And, for those who want a Power Rangers-style look with rubber-suited monsters aplenty--Infra-Man!

So, make it a Merry, Martial-Arts Christmas! Ho, Ho, Ho, Hi-Yahh!

Holiday Reading Room JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY "Monsters on Mercury!"

Though it doesn't look like it...
...this is a Yuletide story, and thus, an appropriate entry into the Holiday Reading Room!
This long-forgotten Stan Lee/Steve Ditko tale from Atlas' Journey into Mystery #78 (1962) has appeared only once since, and not quite in this form.
You'll find out what we mean...soon!

Design of the Week YULETIDE HOMICIDE

Each week, we post a limited-edition design, to be sold for exactly 7 days, then replaced with another!
This week...it's a Yuletide homicide!
A never-reprinted cover from the 1960s featuring the police investigating the apparent demise of Kris Kringle!
Whodunit?
We have no idea, but it'll be a crime if you don't order a kool kollectible using this artwork for a loved one (particularly one in law enforcement) as a fun stocking stuffer!

Reading Room TRAGG AND THE SKY GODS "Day the Earth Thundered" Conclusion

...Tragg and Lorn attempt to warn their tribe that the "sky gods" are not the benevolent beings who visited decades earlier!
But those who blame the duo for the aliens' departure years ago insist that Tragg and one of their own, Gorth, meet the "sky gods" and learn the reason they left years ago!
After Gorth ambushes Tragg en-route to the alien ship, the betrayer is gassed and captured.
Tragg escapes and heads for the alien ship, coming upon Keera, the female second in command (who's descovering she has feelings for the caveman) and rescuing her from a dinosaur.
Then the rest of the arrogant aliens arrive and stun Tragg...
Wow!
Sci-fi soap opera!
Scheming women lusting after unattainable men ostensibly beneath their station!
Writer Don Glut and artist Jesse Santos' never-reprinted tale from Gold Key's Tragg and the Sky Gods #2 (1975) introduces a cross-species sexual-attraction subplot which raises the obvious question...could humans and Yagonites mate?
It's a question they'll never resolve...
