The writer of this somewhat silly story from Atlas' Venus #12 (1951) is unknown, but the artist is Gene Colan, best known to Marvel fans as one of the definitive artists on Silver and Bronze Age titles like Daredevil, Iron Man, and Dracula!

I know the GCD credits the inks to Colan, but seriously> Looks nothing like any full art job of his I've ever seen. Maybe the explanation is board size. Every other piece I've seen was on the smaller boards that became common in the 60s...
