Reading Room: BRANT CRAIG "Case of the Racing Grellama"

Some things never change...
...including cliched mysteries featuring private eyes, whether set in the 1930s/40s or the far future...
This never-reprinted "hard-boiled dick in space" story from Youthful's Fantastic #8 (1951) was probably illustrated by Bill Molno.
The writer is unknown.
BTW, Fantastic's first issue was #8.
The book is actually Captain Science retitled!
This is the final published tale of Brant Craig, but it's not the last one you'll see here!
There's one more, horror-themed, story we're saving for Halloween week.
Don't miss it!

What I'm looking forward to at SDCC...

...with all the new merchandise from the 1960s Batman tv series...
...coming out, there's really only one thing left, an annoucement about a long-awaited DVD release, either as season boxes or a complete series set!
(And a simultaneous release of it's "brother" tv series...
...The Green Hornet, would be the icing on the cake!)

Why Haven't You Seen Pacific Rim?

A private screening on Thursday was packed, but a show at Imax on Friday afternoon was only 1/4 full!

"Not Guilty" Doesn't Mean "Innocent"

You'll have to forgive me, but after the startling (but not unexpected) verdict in the George Zimmerman trial, I'm in no mood to post...
