Reading Room: "Prison Planet"

One of the oldest plots in fiction is "hero fakes going bad"...
...so why not try to "freshen it" by transposing the concept to outer space?
Both the writer and artist(s) for this one-off tale from Ziff-Davis' Crusader from Mars #2 (1952) are unknown.
Neither Jon Barrett nor this version of Space Police ever re-appeared.

Reading Room: SUPERSNIPE "Benson Kidnapping Case" Part 2

...after becoming accidentally-enmeshed in the FBI's takedown of a pair of kidnappers, SuperSnipe thinks he's tricked the criminals into leading him to the captive girl.

Jackie Robinson Story Poster and LobbyCards

The new flick, 42, about Jackie Robinson just opened...
...let's look at the poster and lobbycards from the first movie about the first Black player in the major leagues (which starred Jackie Robinson as himself), now being offered as posters and prints, digitally-remastered and restored from the actual poster and cards, by a good friend of ours!
There's also a line of t-shirts featuring both the poster artwork and the photo covers for the never-reprinted 1950s comic book series about Jackie Robinson HERE.
