An unnamed enemy has tilted the Earth's axis, creating tsunamis that have already destroyed most of the East Coast south of Washington DC, with the US capital and New York City soon to follow.
The nuclear sub Proteus heads towards the Mariana Trench in an attempt to counteract the threat, but it is attacked by a gigantic sea creature awakened by the catastrophe...
What the hell just happened?
This is, easily, one of the weirdest comics ever published.
I wonder if the other three issues in the series are equally-obtuse...
The never-reprinted tale features art by Sam Glanzman (who also did the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea feature film adaptation), but the scriptwriter is unknown.Support Small Business!
