Reading Room STAR☀︎REACH CLASSICS "Origin of God!"

The writer-artist who created Thanos and re-defined "cosmic" presents...
...a simple, but effective visualization by Jim Starlin as shown in Eclipse's Star*Reach Classics #1 (1984).
The observant among you noted the copyright next to the title reads "1974", not "1984"!
That's because this one-pager first appeared in Star*Reach #4 (1974)...but it was in black and white!
I thought, for on-line re-presentation, the color version would be more effective!

CoronaVirus Comics ADVENTURES INTO THE UNKNOWN "Higher Power!"

On the Christian sabbath we ask "when science fails, can faith find a way"?
Perhaps this short. from ACG's Adventures into the Unknown #91 (1957) holds the answer!
Did writer/editor Richard E Hughes and artist Ogden Whitney base this tale on an oft-heard urban legend?
Oddly, when the story was reprinted in ACG's Unknown Worlds #18 (1962), it was retitled...

...and nobody can recall why!

Mohammed's Cameo in Marvel Comics...

From Marvel Preview #1 (1975)...
...and a tale in tribute to the EC Comics of the 1950s called "Good Lord!".
The point in this panel was that God himself was a benevolent alien who sent representatives not only to Earth, but to all worlds!
(If anything, leaving Mohammed out of the lineup cold be construed as an insult!)
You can read the story HERE.
Art by penciler Dave Cockrum and a group of inkers known as the "Crusty Bunkers" including Neal Adams and Joe Rubinstein.
