Each week, we post a limited-edition design, to be sold for exactly 7 days, then replaced with another!
This week...Whether you're a member of Team Edward, Team Jacob, or swing both ways (some people do, nothing wrong with that), you can't go wrong with this vintage design featuring the classic look for both werewolves and vampires!
Perfect for Halloween or watching horror movies!
Available in both adult and kid sizes on t-shirts and sweats/hoodies, as well as mugs, bags and other kool kollectibles!

But do it quickly!
Next Saturday, the Design of the Week mutates into...God only knows what!

Fantastic Femmes: Charlie's Angels Cancelled
Annie Ilonzeh (Kate Prince), Rachael Taylor (Abby Sampson), and Minka Kelly (Eve French) |
The attempt at revamping the campy 1970s series with Annie Ilonzeh, Rachael Taylor, and Minka Kelly as three young criminals turned private investigators in Miami proved futile.
The series brought in 8.7 million viewers with its Sept. 22 premiere, but the numbers dropped from there. Thursday's episode garnered 6 million viewers, a marginal increase from the previous week.
Production has already shut down on the series, and already-produced episodes will air until the network decides what will fill the time slot. (there are 2 known episodes, but it is suspected that at least 2 partially-completed episodes will be finished as well.)
The original tv series ran 5 seasons (1976-81) for 110 episodes, and there were 2 successful feature films in 2000 & 2003.
Ironically, the most recent episode was a remake of an original series episode that drew record ratings when it aired in 1976!

Is Toonopedia Gone?
One of the Net's best resources for comics-related info is...gone?
...a really-cool site loaded with info and pix on comic books, comic strips, animation, and almost everything related, is no longer at www.toonopedia.com!
We hope Don Markstein is OK and that this is just a temporary glitch.
Here's an interesting item...
I went to the Wayback Machine, hoping to see if they'd archived the site (as they do with so many others), and the following message came up...
This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine.
Weird, eh?

YouTube Wednesday: The Avengers (Past & Present)
With all the attention the new trailer for...
..is getting, I fondly remember when Earth's Greatest Heroes were animated directly from Jack Kirby's original art (or photostats of it)!
Oddly, Giant-Man and the Wasp were not in this animated version of Avengers #6, though they were major players in the original story!
And, now, here's the trailer for the new flick (which also doesn't have Giant-Man or The Wasp [sob])...

Reading Room: ATOM-AGE COMBAT "The Hungry Moss"
A story from the 1950s that might've inspired the cult flick The Green Slime!
This tale from the fifth (and final) issue of this 1952-53 comic book is one of only three stories in the entire series with actual sci-fi or alien elements!
Most of the tales were of the World War III / Atomic War type showing a long-feared "US vs the Russian and/or Chinese Commies" war using advanced technology and limited nuclear weaponry.
While the writer is unknown, the art is by longtime war comics artist Dick Ayers, best-known for Sgt Fury and His Howling Commandos.
We're currently presenting another sci-fi story from Atom-Age Combat at our brother blog War: Past, Present & Future™!
