The Unbelievably-KOOL Odds & Ends Art Gallery

We're re-presenting a line of long out-of-print posters and comic book covers as affordable poster prints perfect for students' dorm or bed rooms, house stagers who need a way to personalize a home they're selling in a kitchy (but not tacky) way or pop-culture aficionados who don't want to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars for a display piece!
(Have you seen what some of the originals are selling for on eBay?)

They range from rare Silver Age comic covers...
...to black-light-style posters...
 to pop-art classics!
Check out the Odds & Ends gallery!
Great value!
Kool graphics!
HTF classic pop art!
What more could you want?

Berni Wrightson Exhibition 1977

Even with less than a decade of published work...
...the comics field knew Wrightson was a singular talent!
The (now defunct) New York Comic Arts Gallery devoted an exhibition to the work of this then up-and-comer!
These scans are from a HTF comic-book sized catalog produced for the exhibition.
Absolutely Incredible Comics was never published.
The koolest part is reading Berni's own opinions of his work.

Captain America Silver Age Gallery

Today we're re-presenting a gallery of Captain America art from the Silver Age by Jim Steranko (above) and the character's co-creator Jack Kirby (all the rest).
Why?
Because we're going to see Captain America: the Winter Soldier, and I'm in a "Captain America" sorta mood!
Besides, I don't plug my collectibles everyday! Just most days...  ;-)

EC Comics: It Didn't Rot Our Brains

Now that's art!
(and it's by one of our faves, Francesco Francavilla!)
Mondo will celebrate EC Comics & Tales From The Crypt this Halloween with a gallery show that will run from October 25 through November 23...

Thirty-plus artists will honor one of the greatest horror television shows of all time and its origins in EC Comics, which produced some of the most original and striking horror artwork, inspiring a generation of artists and genre fans.
The show will feature both original works of art and blood-drenched screen prints.
The gallery opening on Friday, October 25 will be from 7:00 – 10:00pm with regular hours to follow for the show’s duration.
The Mondo Gallery is located at 4115 Guadalupe St. in Austin, TX.
I'm so pissed I'm not in Austin...
