Whatever happened to the Citizens Service Corps?

Seeing war was on the horizon, President Roosevelt established the organization in May 1941, seven months before Pearl Harbor plunged us into WWII!

Talk about foresight!

The project was ended in 1945, when WWII concluded.

Considering Don da Con seems determined to get us into another long-term war, which would result (ironically) in a return to the Draft, many Repugs might want to have an option like this to keep themselves out of the combat they voted for!

Note the main aspect is the financial cost to the smoker, not the physical cost!

Publisher Jim Warren knew how to repurpose material to get additional free use out of it.

Just by changing the title, he found a re-use for this male bonding experience in his short-lived female-oriented Teen Love Stories magazine!
