Trivia note: NYPD (even rookies) don't wear khaki uniforms!
(My brother was a NYPD cop for 20 years from the 1980s to the early 2000s...never wore khaki.)
I'm surprised Dawson, who was born and lived in NYC until her late teens, didn't point this out to the other creatives!
