...having driven off three creatures spawned by meteors, the Shogun Warriors now face the prospect of a gigantic meteor about to strike the Earth!

Yes!
Before doing Shogun Warriors, writer Doug Moench and artst Herb Trimpe handled the creative chores on Marvel's previous adaptation of a Japanese media property...Godzilla: King of the Monsters!
(Sadly, the Goszilla comic ented just after Shogun Warriors began, preventing a kool crossover storyline!)
Dr Demonicus first appeared there, in issues 4 & 5 (1977), though not illustrated by Trimpe, but by guest-artist Tom Sutton, who filled-in for those two issues!

Wow, the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe was really handy, eh?
The Shogun Warriors (and Doctor Demonicus) will return in September!
