Halloween Reading Room SUPERSNIPE "Halloween" Part 2

...Koppy (SuperSnipe) McFad (wearing his original costume), celebrates Halloween by trick-or-treating with his friends Herlock Domes and Roxy, and ends up at the Van Welty mansion where the trio inadvertently helps an assassination attempt on the mansion's rich owner.
Discovering that they aided and abbetted a felony, Koppy and Herlock calmly assess the situation...
This tale of terror and trick-or-treat concludes Thursday...

Monday Monster Madness MONSTERS UNLIMITED "Best of #4"

As of #4, Monsters to Laugh With  changed it's title...
...to Monsters Unlimited!
But the Stan Lee-scripted word balloons on old (even in 1965) movie and TV horror/sci-fi pix remained as corny as ever!

Remember the caption-writing contest Stan ran last issue?
Well, here's the (as Stan put it) WEINER...
You'll Have to Wait Until Next Halloween Season To See That Pic!

Next Monday...

Halloween Reading Room SUPERSNIPE ""Halloween" Part 1"

You'd think a story about Halloween would begin a bit differently...
...but remember, this is a story about the Boy with the Most Comic Books in America, so it'll all tie together shortly...
This tale of terror and trick-or-treat continues Tuesday...

Spooky Space Force Saturdays JOURNEY INTO UNKNOWN WORLDS "Planet of Terror!"

Our Final Halloween-Horror Themed Tale is Illustrated by Basil Wolverton...

...but likely not scripted by him!

Even the Grand Comics Database, which normally attributes scripting of Basil's tales to him is uncertain what to make of this somewhat disorienting ending! of this sinister story from Atlas' Journey into Unknown Worlds #7 (1951)!
You'll note the inset art for the story on the cover, by an unknown artist, has none of the elements of the tale itself!
What's the truth?
We'll likely never know...

Frightful Friday Fun DRACULA Dracula One-Page Tales #4

The English-language version of the 1970s Spanish Dracula magazine didn't have any Dracula...
...because they left out these kool, wordless, one-page features from the back cover of the original Spanish editions!
Note these the first one also features Frankenstein's Monster and The Mummy!
And the second one introduces aliens into the mix!
Both England's New English Library and America's Warren Magazines (who licensed the NEL translated version) left out these entertaining pieces...despite the fact no translation was needed!
Written and illustrated by Alfonso Figueras, these one-pagers now make their American debut!
Be here every Friday in October for more kool vampire humor!
