Dinosaurs Under the Christmas Tree!

What kid doesn't love dinosaurs?
The idea of being a huge, unstoppable creature rampaging, devouring, and stepping on everything and everybody in your path has an undeniable appeal to little ones, who usually feel helpless in a world too big for them! (Why do you think Godzilla is still going strong after 50 years? And what about the success of the Jurassic Park trilogy?)
We at Atomic Kommie Comics™ are no different! (A look at the various plastic "giant" reptiles adorning our office will confirm that!)
And since we're just big kids ourselves, we created a whole Dinosaurs section in our sci-fi section The Future WAS Fantastic!™ with vintage images from classic comics AND movies!
What kid wouldn't want a dinosaur under the tree or in his/her stocking on Christmas morning?
Don't disappoint them! Give 'em something to ROAR about!
Dinosaurs!
Once they ruled the planet!
Now they'll dominate your wardrobe!

Reading Room: KENTON OF THE STAR PATROL "Sirens of Space"

Kenton goes hand-to-hand with space pirates...

...and to think he gets paid to do this sort of stuff!
Where do I sign up for the Star Patrol?
This Kenton story from Avon's Strange Worlds #5 (1951) demonstrates Joe Orlando and Wally Wood's talent for rendering both exotic machinery and beautiful women.
It's also their final Kenton story, but not their final work on the character.
He did the cover for the next issue, which features the final tale in the Kenton series, but illustrated by another artist!

The Christmas Gift that Keeps On Giving Year-Round: A Pop-Culture 12-Month Calendar!

One of our favorite types of pop culture collectible here at the Atomic Kommie Comics™ offices are calendars, in particular the multi-page 12-month kind, with a different illustration for each month.

I have over a decade's worth of James Bond 007 movie poster calendars.
Each year the new one adorns the wall over my computer.
When the year is over, I cut it up and use the art the next year as mini-posters to decorate whatever vacation place I rent during the summer.
Besides 007, over the years, I've picked up, or been given, various Star Trek, Star Wars, DC, Marvel, and other licensed property calendars.
I've always enjoyed using them, and often thought of the person who gave them to me!

But, there are pop culture categories and subjects that we've wanted in calendar form as presents for others (or for ourselves), but were never produced!
So, we decided to create them, using the wildest, rarest, kitchiest comic book and pulp magazine covers & movie posters we could find, each image digitally-restored and remastered from hi-rez scans of the original items, NO reprints or low-rez files!
Only $19.99 each!
