Reading Room: RACE FOR THE MOON "Disc Jockey"

The 1950s.
When "disc" could mean either "flying saucer" or "lp record".
Or both...
A tale of discs and disks from Race to the Moon #1, 1958.
Art by Bob Powell.

  1. Wow! What a great comic Race For the Moon must've been!

No wonder it didn't sell, given it's peculiarly half subversive, half reactionary tone.

I also love the synchronicity of the DJ who refuses to shut down but whose message is reaching EVERYWHERE being called Web(b)!
